Now that’s what I call a title!  Anyway, take this news article with a grain . . .no, a spoonful of salt.

Avi Lerner, the producer of The Expendables and The Expendables 2, has stated that they have already attached Nic Cage to The Expendables 3, and are in discussions with Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford.  Wesley Snipes is also wanted, though they have to wait for his prison sentence to end to make an actual offer.  Snipes is due to be released from prison in July 2013.

They are also still trying to get Steven Segal.  Still.  And why?  Antonio Banderas has publicly stated that he would be up for the three-quel as well.  Banderas had to pass on 2 due to his hectic schedule.

Ok, let’s just leek at this news and temper our expectations.  While it is unbelievable cool to have The Terminator and Rocky and Chuck Norris (he needs no cool movie name!) and John McClaine in the same film, what are the actual odds that Dirty Harry and Han Solo will join?  In my way of thinking, it will not happen.  Harrison Ford, perhaps.  But don’t hold your breath.  I think the odds of Clint Eastwood are slim to none.  But how cool would it be?  What do you think?
