I can’t claim to be a fan of the Paranormal Activity series. While I thought the first one was pretty intense, it really didn’t hold up well on multiple viewings. The sequel was almost the same film, beat for beat and I was very underwhelmed. (I am currently in the process of watching part 3.)
Watching this trailer, I am a little bit underwhelmed. It appears the the Saw franchise and been trumped by the Paranormal Activity franchise as a film we will be seeing every Halloween. Oh, well. Any way, here is the trailer. Take a look:
*sighs* I abhor these movies. And unfortunately, I’ve had to sit through them all with my friend’s 11 year old.
I liked the first one. Second one sucked. Third one was . . .eh . . .
I definitely haven’t seen what the fuss is all about, that’s for sure.
I didn’t even like the first one. “Oh, hi, honey by the way, I have this demon that’s been following me around since I was 8! Sorry, I didn’t tell you that before we moved in together, whoopsie!” And the guy was a douche. Even the 11 year old said that about him, lol.
lol Have you seen The Last Exorcism? What did you think of that?
I don’t think I’ve seen that one. Is that the one where it’s the daughter whose mom is possessed? Or the one that starts out in black and white? I have seen way too many possession movies, methinks.
lol It’s a newer one. About the preacher who goes to prove that exorcisms are fake.
Then I have NOT seen it. Worth checking out though?
I thought it was amazing. It was produced by Eli Roth. Came out in theaters a couple years ago.
Gotcha. I’m not a huge Roth fan but I’ll check it out!
