Here we have the trailer for Silent Hill Revelation 3D, the sequel to the 2006 film, Silent Hill.
I liked the first film, so am looking forward to this one, even though I find this trailer a little bit ineffective. This film is directed by Michael J. Bassett (the wonderful Solomon Kane). It stars Sean Bean, reprising his role from the first film, Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harrington (Game of Thrones), Carrie Anne-Moss (The Matrix trilogy, Memento), Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange), Deborah Kara Unger (Payback, Highlander III), and Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill, Finding Neverland).
This releases on October 26, 2012, just in time for Halloween.

Silent Hill is a weird film for me. The first time I saw it I abhorred it. Yet, I’m compelled to watch it again and again. I don’t know what it is about it. I think I really really wanted to like it because it seemed so up my alley and so creepy but maybe there’s a lack of connection because I’ve never played the game and the movie felt very plotless?
I haven’t played the game in years, but the game was the same way. It was more about evoking terror than explaining why, if that makes sense. In that sense, I thought the movie was the bees knees. Plus, it had Sean Bean in it. I love that dude! lol
Have you watched Behind the Mask yet? Checked out my interview with the director? I’m going to attempt to get an interview with the director of Silent Hill 2, as well.
*giggles* Bees knees! That is a severely underused phrase, friend!
And yeah, Sean Bean is pretty cool plus he has an AWESOME name. I haven’t watched or read your interview yet (I’m waiting till I watch) – I will be getting to it this week sometime, maybe tonight after work and babysitting. Would be cool to read an interview with the SH director also!
I haven’t reached out to him yet, but I loved his first film, Solomon Kane.
Speaking of Kane, I have reached out to Kane Hodder and hopefully will get in interview with him as well. lol Fingers crossed!
I haven’t heard of Solomon Kane. And sweet! *fingers crossed for you*!
