This has been an amazing series so far (even though I am unhappy that they shafted Frank Darabont), and this looks to continue the trend. It looks like the stakes are even more amped up here, though. No, I haven’t read the comics. I have been told I should check them out.
I kinda gave up on comics years ago when the price got to be too much and have never gotten back into them. I have bought a few for my son, for when he gets older, though.
I do really dig the series, though. Watch it religiously. And once they paired it with Hell on Wheels, I am hooked on AMC on Sunday nights. lol
I don’t know about where you live, but where I live since the t.v. show came on our local library actually has most of them.
If you’re interested. Because yeah, comics are expensive to buy. I used to go blow like $100 a visit and had to stop. But these are really terrific if you can borrow them. Just an fyi, they are 100 times more brutal and depressing than the t.v. show. Hard to believe but true. 
Haven’t seen Hell on Wheels (I don’t actually have t.v.) but am thinking it’s a biker show, lol?
Actually, Hell on Wheels is a western. It’s about the railroad being built. The town surrounding the railroad is named Hell on Wheels. That is a good guess that it might be a biker show, though. lol
