Even since my father took me to see Patriot Games in the theater, I have been a fan of Sean Bean.  He has a ‘man’s man’ quality about him and seems like he would be a cool guy to just hang out with at the pub.  As you can see by the filmography, he has been in a lot of geek friendly fare.  While some of the movies he has appeared in are great, the only amazing stinker on the list is ‘The Hitcher’ a HORRIBLE remake of a terrifying ’80 film.
