It seems as if Lionsgate and WWE Films are moving ahead with a reboot of the Leprechaun franchise.  Really?  Did anyone really want this?  I mean, how can you top Leprechaun: In Space and Leprechaun: In the Hood and Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood?

Since this deal involves WWE, my guess is that Hornswoggle will play the title role of the evil Leprechaun searching for his pot of gold in the most gruesome ways possible.

I did like Leprechaun 1 and 2.  Fun fact:  Leprechaun is Jennifer Anniston‘s first film credit.  Look at the poster above.  Yep, that’s her.  I find it hard to believe that they will find anyone other than Warwick Davis who will be able to bring the maniacal joy to the role that he did.
