I have to say that I mostly agree with the article.  After seeing the film, I began looking at some of the reviews for it and was disheartened.  I will cover more of this when I write my article in defense of John Carter.  But for now, take a look at the AICN article.  I think it is worth a read, especially if you are considering seeing the film (I recommend checking it out).
